PRODUCTION

our history

Before launching Ping Pang Paris, we wanted to make sure that our project had the potential to become an engine for positive change. Surrounding ourselves with trusted suppliers and partners who shared the same ambition gradually became a priority.

This long quest for quality and transparency, which lasted almost two years, began with a deep-seated desire to work with French workshops. After some inconclusive encounters, we decided to broaden our search to neighboring countries. Starting with Italy, renowned for the quality of its workshops .

Once again, after many long months exploring Florence's surroundings, developing prototypes and meeting craftsmen, we had to make the difficult choice of starting from scratch, and changing our perspective once again .

A difficult choice, which turned out to be one of the best we've made so far.

THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF OUR LIVES

Once again looking for partners who shared our values and vision, we headed for Portugal. It was then that we had the good fortune to cross paths with some incredible people. Dedicated, professional and human.

We share their values :

respect for the environment and the well-being of each of their partners and employees.

A new challenge: to convince them that our project is up to scratch. At this point, we still have no guarantees, and they're not used to working with brands as young as ours.

After spending several days with them, discussing our shared values, our visions and our teams... they decided to invest in us.

At last, we can begin.

OUR COLLECTION

Made in Portugal

Development

From fabric making, preparation and coloring to cutting and design. We took the time to discover each stage and visit each workshop .

Today, all our products are embroidered on high-quality 100% organic cotton Jersey fabric. The manufacture of our products therefore involves many stages, meticulously carried out by different workshops, all located within a 10km radius of each other. Once again, our main concern is to ensure that the people we work with share our vision of the company, as well as our fundamental value of respect for people and the environment .

Certifications

Each of these stages, and every piece produced, has also been certified by the two most important European bodies in terms of respect for labor rights and environmental protection [GOTS and OEKO-tex STep].

Different stages

. Weaving (GOTS by control-union)

. Wet processing, dyeing, finishing (GOTS by Ecocert)

. Embroidery (GOTS by control-union)

. Label, hangtag (OEKO-Tex-STANDARD 100)

. Manufacturer, developer, cutter, sewer (GOTS by control-union / OEKO-Tex STeP)

Technologies

Our workshops also use :

. A system for extracting waste from sewing machines and the automatic cutting that follows in a "green room", where the waste is then fully recycled.

. A system of solar panels to produce the energy they need to be self-sufficient for at least 6 months a year.

Packaging

We work with pioneers in eco-responsible materials (Grounded Packaging and AquaPak). Our aim is to use no single-use plastic, so that it doesn't end up burnt or in the oceans.
